URGENT! Sign A Petition To Secure The Federal Building For The Arts Center

If you support an Arts Center, NOW is the time to let your voice be heard by signing a petition to have the surplused Federal Building in Plattsburgh become our local Arts Center!!!

You must act by November 5th

The NCCCA just received approval by the National Board of Education to acquire the Federal Building as an Arts Center. However, despite the previous Mayor and City Council providing support for an Arts Corridor in downtown Plattsburgh that included the Federal Building becoming an Arts Center, Plattsburgh's Mayor Don Kasprzak is asking it be turned into a retail venture. It is now up to the GSA (General Services Administration) to review the proposal and make a decision.

If you want to see the Federal Building become our Arts Center, and the further development of the Arts Corridor, then your voice needs to be heard. Please read the email below and get to the current Arts Center on Brinkerhoff Street to sign the petition. Better yet, seriously consider downloading or printing a petition form, getting as many signatures as you can, and then brining it to the current Arts Center no later than November 5th.
